I have always loved Illamasqua products, but today I not only love makeup, but I admire (and very much) the brand, last year they launched a line in honor of Sophie Lancaster, a girl who was beaten in 2007, with her boyfriend . (Robert Maltby), simply because he had a different style (he was goth). After days in a hospital coma, he died. Too sad!
Sophie’s tragic death resonated around the world and her family founded the Sophie Lancaster Foundation, an incredible foundation that works with educational groups against prejudice and intolerance, in addition to countless other campaigns for human beings and their cultural diversity.
- Then part of the proceeds from this special Illamasqua line (which is wonderful.
- By the way) goes to the Sophie Lancaster Foundation.
- One more reason for us to enjoy makeup and help others.
- How can it be better?.
Yes there are! To further promote the campaign, Illamasqua created a kind of mini-collection called the Sophie-I Smoky Eye Technique (products are pictured above) and asked makeup artist Charlotte Savory to create makeup with the products.
Perfect dramatic makeup, right? I loved this dark mega concave marked in contrast to the bare eyelid, anyone who has found too many can keep this suggestion for the chic carnival, I loved it and will definitely try to do something like this.
To our delight, Illamasqua recorded with Charlotte Savory a video with step-by-step makeup, it’s worth playing and seeing, it’s a brand made in a totally different way than the casual.
