Anyone who accompanies me knows that every year I worry about promoting the October Pink campaign, whose mission is to raise women’s awareness of breast cancer prevention, I am a daughter, wife and mother, and I write for a 90% female audience. the other 10% have mother, cousin, sister, right?, that is, I have an obligation to open a space to talk about HEALTH.
It turns out that, unfortunately, breast cancer is just one of the cancers that affect women around the world; cervical cancer, another type, is a serious disease that can kill; in Brazil, cervical cancer is the third most common type and affects 15,000 women a year, causing 5,000 deaths. Sad reality.

In 2014 girls from 11 to 13 years old were vaccinated, this year the Ministry of Health has expanded the group to get vaccinated and now it is the turn of girls from 9 to 11 years old (my daughter will turn 9 in July, then I will be alert not to pass).
Vaccination consists of three doses. The first dose is available in SUS health units since March and the second dose should be taken at 6 months, it is essential to receive this dose, since with it alone your child will be protected.
