Mary Kay’s beautiful shadows

I haven’t seen any information about Mary Kay appear here and there for those who don’t know, American society has an interesting history: it was founded by a woman who, after years of working in a company, had seen from the box promote one of her trained to a position where she would simply earn doublez-LA (brazen machismo!).Today, it may seem like a joke, but did the story happen in the 50s/60s?

That’s when Mary Kay Ash acted instead of crying (and eating chocolate).Shortly after this episode, Mary wrote a book that encouraged women to conquer spaces formerly dominated by macabre. In the midst of this process, he realized that he could expand the councils.for a company.

  • “I imagined a company where any woman could be as successful as she wanted.
  • The doors would be open to women who were willing to pay the price and had the courage to dream.
  • Mary Kay told.

This was the starting point for her, in 1963, to create Beauty by Mary Kay.Decades later, the business has spread around the world and today has about 1.8 million consultants (is it great!?).

For these and others, I’ve always been interested in knowing the brand, but I never had a chance, until my fiancĂ©’s cousin became a consultant, right?

I immediately acquired two shades: Raisin and Cinnabar. Look what they’re like:

Grape: This shade has a tone that I have always looked for: reddish brown grape, the best thing is that it is super opaque and slides in the eyes, super smoked and tripled. To like to use every day, I lightly mix the Apply Gap (to leave the tone washed) near the lower lashes and you’re done.I’m done with mascara. This already gives you this precious look.I find this shade elegant and perfect for those with green/brown green eyes!

Cinabre: A medium brown chocolate tone. Beautiful and wild for any occasion, it was super coveted because Alice Salazar (of Espelho Meu) uses it in virtually all tutorials. The great advantage of this eye shadow is that although it is SUPER opaque, it is easily applied on the eyelid, which is rare! There is nothing to say, one of the best I have tried, pigmentation impresses, apart from the soft and easy-to-work texture.

Both are great, I was very surprised by the AAA quality of Mary Kay, I recommend with my eyes closed and I already have my eye on other colors, so that you can visualize this high level, I made a comparison between cinabre and Swiss mac chocolate, because they have almost the same color, is the difference due to pigmentation ?.

Have you noticed that the cinabre is more pigmented? Well, are these the people? It’s REALLY!

To get back to the Mary Kay shades, I took a look using Raisin and Cinabre, applied Cinnanar on the eyelid and near the bottom lashes, then spread Grape on the concave (and just above), then smoked cinnaber on the outer corner (to let the brown get stronger!). Since I can’t live without shine, I applied MAC THE HERITAGE Rouge Pigment to the inner corner (and a little on the lower lashes). I finished with an eyeliner, a black pencil on the waterline, and mascara (which even smudged my eyelid, but suffocated!).

I noticed that the red of the super shadows lit up the green eye on the right! And the idea is exactly that, whoever has green eyes, greenish brown, honey, must invest in wine, purple and red tones to enhance the look.A discreet tip is this, brown grape shade, brown earth!

Before anyone asks: Eye shadow comes in a spare, but it comes in a package that works, so there’s no real need to buy the palette. Each top-up is R$19.00, super worthy price.

Now, another tip: The Sweet Plum eye shadow is exactly like the purple eye shadow of the mineralized duo Eartly Richies, which I showed HERE!

For the interested girls from Campinas and the region, I bought everything with Veri, their contact is this: [email protected]

It’s definitely worth seeing the products up close. I’ve met everyone and I have to highlight the Demaquilante (more powerful than BiFacil de Lanme and in the amount of R$40.00) and the Eye Primer Shadow Fixer (R$41.00), as well as the first Urban Decay.

Do you have questions, suggestions, comments and other tips about Mary Kay products?

Beautiful beijoss girls!
