A while ago I bought the MAC Contrast eye shadow, it’s the brand’s darling (best-seller) and it’s almost always sold out, I took advantage of a stock moment and acquired mine, yet I admit that I hadn’t used it I even caught the eye that fake blue makeup from Marina Ruy Barbosa that I posted here, remember?Immediately, I remembered Contrast, said and done, it was great and super similar to the one Marina uses (so it’s even that tone Lili Ferraz used!).
The contrast tone has a very special shade of dark blue with a violet background.
- Its cover is made of double function velvet.
- Shines if applied on a creamy first/base and is opaque if smoked.
- Which is really cool.
- Because it’s so much easier to smear a shadow with a little shine.
- It slides more easily.
- You know?.
In the makeup below, I have Contrast on top of the primer on the moving eyelid and also with all the concave, no primer underneath. I didn’t wear black or brown in this makeup, I just played with Contrast and I had an amazing effect.
Near the lower lashes, I use Freshwater, also mac

Blue makeup is everything, isn’t it? And the best thing is that this type of tone works on white, dark and black skins, as well as in blondes, redheads and brunettes.
